Post Name: Research Officer – ToxicologyJob Description:Roles and responsibilities Act as study Director/personnel animal handling, randomization, formulation preparation, body weight recording, dosing, observation of clinical signs, understanding on basics in toxicology/toxicity studies conduct, recording of observations, collection of various body fluids, bone marrow/blood etc smear preparation and staining, necropsy, raw data recording, compilation and translation to computerized data. Preparation of various forms and SOPs whenever required. Perform statistical analysis for various parameters in toxicology studies. Perform clinical pathology, hematology, coagulation and urine analysis parameters. Perform analysis of proper QC and RIQAS samples in a timely manner to ensure quality of results.
Required Candidate profile An idle candidate should have experience in conducting in vivo toxicity studies on lab animals to facilitate the overall ambition of the R&D department of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. This position is intended to cover the following areas: 1) All aspects of in vivo toxicity studies on lab animals such as rats, mice, etc 2) All aspects of adherence to standard toxicological norms and regulations 3) All aspects of decision making in the various routine functions 4) Performing PDE and OEL assessment for various products 5) Support in standardization of various biomarkers.
