Vacancy for Oligonucleotide Therapeutics - CR&D

We are looking for a good & Dynamic candidates forOligonucleotide API Process Development (including synthesis, purification and TFF) Chemists / Biotechnologists / Engineers, for our Natco Research Centre located at Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad.

Job description for oligonucleotide upstream and downstream process:

·         experience in oligonucleotide/peptide chemistry (upstream and downstream process)

·         Hands on experience with automated synthesis process approaches

·         Independent thinking and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills, including lab notebooks writing

Key Skills: 

·         Strong knowledge of oligonucleotide chemistry (Upstream and downstream process)

·         Excellent hands on experience of solid phase synthesis chemistry (Peptides and/or oligonucleotides)

·         Independently setup and execute oligonucleotide experiments with automated synthesizers

·         Day to day trouble shooting and maintenance of automated synthesizer and purification systems

·         Evaluating the quality of raw materials, In process control samples, Intermediate and final drug substance analysis data with supports of analytical R & D

·         Synthesis, purification and TFF method/process development

·         Hands on experience of inert atmosphere (N2/Ar) reactions for eg: oligonucleotide synthesis, carbohydrate synthesis, nucleoside synthesis etc.

·         Maintain high level of laboratory productivity with can do attitude  Develop and supervise more junior staff where ever applicable

·         Maintenance and usage of equipment /apparatus /instruments as per company SOPs/GLP standards

Equipment handling:

·         Strong knowledge and experience of automated equipments for eg: GE kta systems, automated peptide synthesizers etc.

·         Hands on experience and evaluation of chromatography manual column packing/unpacking

·         Strong knowledge of Unicorn software for kta systems
